Movie time

I have had a few favourite animated movies like Ice Age, Shrek, Stuart Little to name a few. And now that I get to watch them with Navya gets me even more excited about them.

Though her attention span is 5 minutes(at max) but that doesn't stop me from looking for different movies all the time. This search led me to a wonderful movie - SING. I watched it just yesterday for the first time and loved it. Navya's take on the movie was again 5 min attention span. But with so many different animals to look at and identify i am sure navya will like it in the long run. The bonus for the movie is the music.

We will surely be watching it again this week atleast twice.

Do you like watching movies with you little ones? Which is your favourite movie to watch with your kids? IS their any movie in particular you are excited about?

Mother's day gift Ideas 2018

Now that I am a Mom myself Mother's day this year is just so much more special, though Navya can't go get me presents or flowers but just her existence seems like the best gift I could ask for. I am sure this goes for all Moms. The health and happiness of their kids is their best gift but just in case you wanna go an extra mile and get your dear Mums something here are a few ideas:

MIXIFY® Unloc Skin Glow Face Serum -    495.00

This is rated as one of the bestsellers on Amazon and rightly so. It claims to remove dead cells, exfoliate and brighten skin. moreover it smells good. If your mom is into skincare she would definitely enjoy this.

How chic is this bag. Even I would love to own it *Hint* *Hint*.

All women love jewels and what could be better than gifting a watch which works like part watch part bracelet.

Carolina Herrera Good Girl Perfume - INR 6800

I think that most women love Perfumes and this new scent from the masters of fragrance making is as gorgeous smelling as it is stylish looking.

Lindt Swiss Thins - Rs. 590

This would make any chocolate lover very happy and the plus side is you can ask your mom to share it with you ... Genius!!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.<3

LoveStyleCrazy #ThrowbackThursdays

Looking back on certain memories brings back smiles and sometimes tears. These memories sometimes just pop up out of the blue, but sometimes we make an effort to remember things. This series is my little effort to talk about things we loved, laughed about or utterly disliked in the past.

1) I am sure all of the kids from the 90's remember this "it" song . It was playing on the radio and Paresh also new the song so well. I have danced to this song a million times and I still sing it when i am playing Antakshri. Some songs get stuck in your mind and you just have to sing them everytime you play antakshri .
P.s. the best thing about This song is Milind Soman 💖

Alisha Chinai's - Made in India

2) Last week we lost one of the most iconic actors in Bollywood. What a beauty. I have grooved to so many songs of her and will continue to do. Yes i can still dance to "Yeh ladki kahan se ayyi hai -Chalbaaz" or "Mere Hathon mei nau nau churiyaan - chandni"  my favourite childhood songs.

3) A little #TBT of my own. This is me and my dad after a lunch about 3 years ago. I will be visiting my folks next month and am so eagerly waiting. this time I plan to click hundreds of pics with them.

4) I am not ashamed to admit that "The notebook" is one of my all time favourite romantic movies. This is one of the most iconic moments of the movie. "I am a Bird if your a Bird" *Sigh*

Can you think of any crazy old pop songs ? Or is their any favourite movie dialogue that you remember that you would like to share?

February 2018 #BookClubLSC

February being the month of love and all made me select two books which kind of fall in that genre. The reason why I say "kind of "is because they are not your typical romantic novels but these are books that make you appreciate love and loved ones even more.

The books I read this month are:

A man called Ove

As the name suggests this book is the story about Ove. A story both sweet and hilarious. Ove, a Swedish man plans to commit suicide after the demise of his wife, Sonja but things don't work out as per his plans.
This book is about love, the love he has for his wife, the love he has for the cat who he refuses to acknowledge as his pet, the love for his car, the love for his old neighbours whom he hasn't spoken to in a long time, the love for his new neighbours who keep intruding in his life.
Fredrick Backman who is the author in  this article says that Ove is basically drawn from him in real life. This books beautifully explains why people who are set in their way can be the best people to be around.

The Fault in our stars

I have seen the movie cried my eyes out, read this book in 2014 cried my eyes out and re read it this month..guess what "cried my eyes out" Oh Gus you charming Gus why! This is a story about three people and how they deal with cancer. The young couple who know death is inevitable but still manage to find love and joy and humour and more love. It's also about the author of their favourite book who had dealt with cancer but has been shoved to the dark side of life.
This book is a reminder that no matter what your going through in life you can always appreciate the love you get.

Both these books were wonderful reads and now I am off to select two for the  month of March. Have you read any of these books?if so how did u feel about them?

In case you want to read any of these books you can get them here and here.

Also do u have any particular books in mind for March?
