Smiles
Today Navya smiled an actual smile for the camera and then she got shy and started playing around. Oh how my heart is flowing with love for this girl. I am feeling so proud of my little monkey. Isn't she the sweetest.
In love with the second picture. I am thinking of getting it framed. What do you think?

I Wish you enough
There are so many ways of wishing well when bidding adieu. We wish people happiness, success, laughter or good health. I came across a post today describing a family's tradition of wishing each other when saying goodbyes. They say "I wish you enough" wanting the other person to have a life filled with enough good things to sustain them.
Further elaborated :
"I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final goodbye".
What a beautiful way to part. I wish you all enough!
Do you have a special way of wishing before saying goodbye? Would you like to start wishing your loved ones in this way? We always kiss each other before saying goodbye.

Are you going on a Holiday?
We are visiting out parents for the holidays this year. Both mine and Paresh's parents live in the same city so it will be super fun and hectic since we will be diving our time between both sets of grandparents.
Me and Paresh are also hoping to get a little alone time may be go on a date or drive which isn't possible for us in Bangalore.
I am planing to show Navya some of the tourist places in Chandigarh this time. I hope she has a good time and likes the city as much as we do.
Do you have any plans for the holidays? Do you plan to travel or just chill at home?

Happy 5th Anniversary
I have been married for 5 years now to this wonderfully irritating human being. To celebrate we went out for dinner to one of our favourite Italian Cafes. The food as usual was amazing and we returned home happy and satisfied.
In case you are interested here are a few photos of us.

(I am pregnant and utterly disinterested in getting pictures taken)

It's My Birthday
Navya had fever so we stayed at home and cuddled in bed the whole day. In between we watched Ice Age (Coz its her all time favourite movie) and just hung around the house. As she got a little active later in the evening we went for coffee and Navya had a blast climbing up and down the stairs.
So my 31st was a slow yet chill bday. How did you/ do you plan to celebrate your day this year? are there any special plans? do you like to go out and celebrate or are you happy staying at home chilling?

Did you ever fall off the bed while sleeping ?
We have always co-slept with Navya, me and Boo on either side. Still I am always worried about her falling off the bed in her sleep. So last night when I heard a loud noise I got up panicking thinking Navya had fallen off the bed. As I saw her sleeping cosily on boo's side of the bed, I realised it was Boo who had accidentally fallen off the bed. In my half asleep state I just couldn't believe he had fallen off the bed while sleeping. After checking up on him I rolled navya to my side and laughed for a good 10 minutes before going back to sleep.
It still cracks me up thinking about the whole scene. An obvious outcome is that now both of us have reserved more sleeping space for ourselves.
Have you ever fallen off the bed while sleeping? How would you react if you do? If I ever manage to do that I will probably stay on the floor for the rest of the night.
